DESCRIPTION:Howl of Duty connects Scouts with the ideas of service\, sacrifice\, and patriotism while helping them learn about the United States military and our Veterans community. Scouts tour the museum while completing a series of activities that result in them earning and being awarded adventure loops at the event. \nTigers will complete the Good Knights adventure Wolves will complete the Council Fire: Duty to Country adventure Bears will complete the Paws for Action adventure \n\nParticipating Scouts: $10 (Fee covers patch\, event admission\, museum admission – NO BELT LOOPS WILL BE GIVEN OUT)\nNon-Participants: $3 Museum Fee\nPlease bring 1 or more canned good/personal hygine items to donate for a group service project!\n\nHOWL OF DUTY is an annual event organized by Simon Kenton Council’s Gateway District\, but it is open to any Scout of any rank or district. Come learn\, have fun\, and adventure with us! \nParticipants needs about 60-90 minutes to complete everything\, so plan accordingly as the museum closes at 5pm. Do 3 and earn a “summer adventure” belt loop! \nMeet Up Location for Keep Columbus Beautiful: Plan to meet at the easternmost side of the park. This is the opposite end of the Bird Tunnel. Park around Cliffside/Glenmawr and take the paved walkway down to the park. We will meet at the clearing at the bottom of the hill. (Paved walkway starts roughly at 537 Cliffside Drive\, Columbus\, OH 43202 if you are using GPS to get to the site)\n\n\nDetails: Come participate in a Council wide creek clean up.
