Pack 41 has a range of optional events to participate in this summer. Do 3 and earn a “summer adventure” belt loop!
Meet Up Location for Keep Columbus Beautiful: Plan to meet at the easternmost side of the park. This is the opposite end of the Bird Tunnel. Park around Cliffside/Glenmawr and take the paved walkway down to the park. We will meet at the clearing at the bottom of the hill. (Paved walkway starts roughly at 537 Cliffside Drive, Columbus, OH 43202 if you are using GPS to get to the site)
Details: Come participate in a Council wide creek clean up. Scout packs throughout the Simon Kenton Council will clean up litter from local creeks, rivers, lakes, etc. Cubs can use this event to earn the Scouting for Clean Waterways Patch–details here: https://www.scouting.
We hope to receive donations of clean up supplies (trash bags, gloves, etc.) but please bring your own if you can.
